There is also a significant gap between rural and urban areas when it comes to education opportunities. In Pakistan’s cities, families have greater access to quality schools and experienced teachers. But in rural areas where more than 60 percent of Pakistanis live – most families cannot afford private schooling, and public schools are often inadequate.

This disparity contributes to the country’s high illiteracy rate: according to UNESCO , only 54 percent of Pakistani adults can read and write . The Pakistani government has made some progress on educational reform in recent years. In 2022, it launched the National Education Policy , which aimed to improve access , quality , equity , governance , and financing in the education system .

The government has also allocated more resources to education : according to the World Bank , spending on education as a percentage of GDP increased from 2percent in 2002-2003 to 2 .9 percent in 2012-2013 . And last year , Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced plans to increase that figure to 4 percent by 2018 .

the Basic Womem Rights

Women’s rights are the basic rights that every woman is entitled to. These include the right to live free from violence, the right to be treated equally, and the right to have control over her own body. Violence against women is a global epidemic.

One in three women will experience physical or sexual violence in her lifetime. This is an unacceptable level of violence that must be stopped. Women have the right to live free from violence, whether it be from their intimate partner, a family member, or stranger.

They should also be protected by the law from all forms of abuse and harassment. Equality between men and women is a fundamental human right. Unfortunately, gender inequality is still a reality in many parts of the world.

Models Girls in Pakistan

Women are often denied access to education, employment opportunities, and political participation simply because they are women. This must change if we are to achieve true equality between men and women. Every woman has the right to make decisions about her own body and reproductive health care without interference from anyone else.
